Easter is coming!

Easter is coming, and that means spring is in the air, K's (and Daddy's) birthday is almost upon us and kids get to get to dress up as witches and beg for chocolate. In Finland on Palm Sunday it's a little like a mini version of Halloween, but with a delayed pay-off as you have to wait until Easter Sunday to collect your egg or chicken....which are hopefully made of chocolate, and not a real chicken like the one Ă„iti was taunted with by one of the neighbours as a kid.

The start of Spring in Finland is a bit of a cruel joke it seems...we've had -15c nights for the last few weeks but it's been getting up to +4c or so in the afternoon. Well at least there's some sun out there! There were even northern lights as far South as Helsinki last week...but not a peak of them on the night Daddy went out and stood in a field in the middle of the night for 2 hours. :)

Spring fashion...just like winter fashion but with sunglasses.

Rock climbing.

E as a cat, bunny, witch crossover thing.

K as a bat. A short tailed fruit bat to be exact.

Bat nose.

K and E reciting the egg or chicken rhyme to book eggs from Nana...

..and Pabba.
